Professeur et chef du département de Lettres Françaises à l’Université Saint-Joseph, spécialiste en iconotextualité. Elle s’intéresse également à la problématique du paysage urbain en littérature : « la perception du paysage urbain pose des problématiques diverses dont certaines s’inscrivent dans une réflexion littéraire. Ainsi, la question des rapports entre l’espace réel et l’espace imaginaire, ou encore celle des rapports entre l’espace et l’histoire interrogent et mettent en valeur la dimension narrative du paysage en général ». Nayla Tamraz est également membre du groupe COGIT.
